Tracks, Rollers & Finals
Undercarriage is the single largest wear cost on any tracked machine, commonly half of total maintenance spend over its life. It’s also the most often mismanaged, because wear happens slowly enough that nobody notices until something expensive breaks.
We service undercarriage on-site across Nevada: chains, rollers, idlers, sprockets and track tension, with proper wear measurement rather than guesswork.
What Is Included
Replacing undercarriage early wastes money. Replacing it late destroys sprockets and final drives. The only way to hit the window is to measure wear percentages, which takes an hour and saves thousands.
What Goes Wrong
Nevada material is abrasive and unforgiving. Most premature undercarriage wear we see comes down to operation and adjustment rather than the components themselves being poor.
Know The Warning Signs
Undercarriage wear is gradual and easy to ignore right up until it destroys something expensive. These are the indicators worth booking a measurement over.
Why On-Site
A wear measurement gives you percentages on every component: chain, links, rollers, idlers and sprockets. From that we project remaining hours and tell you roughly when replacement is due.
That turns your largest wear cost from a surprise into a line item you can plan for. It also tells you honestly when a machine still has plenty of life left, which is worth knowing before anybody sells you a full undercarriage package you don’t need yet.
Transparent Pricing
Undercarriage is typically the largest single wear cost on a tracked machine over its life. Understanding what moves the number helps you plan for it rather than absorb it as a shock.
Where We Do This Work
Undercarriage work is performed on-site across the Las Vegas valley including Henderson, North Las Vegas, Summerlin and Boulder City, and out to Pahrump.
We also cover Reno, Carson City, Fallon and Yerington, plus Elko, Winnemucca, Battle Mountain and Tonopah in the interior. Nevada material is abrasive and undercarriage life here’s shorter than in softer ground, which is why regular measurement matters more in this state than most.
Measurement, not appearance. Worn components often look serviceable and worn-out ones sometimes look fine. We measure link height, bushing diameter, roller and idler wear, and sprocket profile, then give you percentages and a projection. Book a measurement before committing to any replacement quote.
Yes. Chain, roller, idler and sprocket replacement is standard field work for us. Our trucks carry the lifting capacity and press tooling to do it at your jobsite rather than requiring transport.
Enormously, and mostly due to operation rather than the machine. The same model in the same material can see double the life with correct tension, regular cleaning and operators who avoid unnecessary counter-rotation. That’s why we report on those factors as well as the parts.
Yes. Rubber track replacement on compact track loaders and mini excavators, plus rubber pad replacement on steel tracks where machines work on finished surfaces.
Every 500 to 1,000 hours for a machine in abrasive material, or roughly quarterly for a unit in steady work. That cadence catches the replacement window and gives you enough notice to budget.
Only if the sprockets still measure within tolerance. Fitting new chain to worn sprockets wears the new chain rapidly, so it’s false economy in most cases. Measurement tells us definitively rather than leaving it to opinion.
Substantially. Counter-rotation, high-speed travel, working consistently on side slopes and turning always in the same direction all accelerate wear noticeably. Our wear reports flag uneven patterns, which often points at a habit that can be corrected.
