Who We Are

The Shop That Drives To You

Las Vegas Equipment Repair is an independent heavy equipment and diesel shop built around one idea. The machine should not have to come to us. We bring the tools, the diagnostics and the lifting capacity to wherever it broke.

Why Mobile

Because the Lowboy Was Always the Real Bill

Watch what happens on a traditional repair. You call a shop. They tell you to bring it in. You book a lowboy, get a permit if it is oversized, lose a day loading and hauling, and then the machine sits in a queue behind everybody else who did the same thing. A week later you haul it back.

The repair itself might have been four hours.

That gap between the work and the cost of getting to the work is where most equipment downtime actually lives. We built this business to delete it. Our trucks carry laptop diagnostics for every major make, hydraulic tooling and a hose crimper, welding and cutting gear, and a boom crane rated to pull an engine or a final drive. Almost everything a shop can do, we do standing next to your machine.

Independent

We Do Not Work For a Manufacturer

A dealer service department is very good at one brand and structurally uninterested in the rest of your yard. If you run a Cat excavator, a Deere loader, a Bobcat skid steer and a Kubota mini, that is four service relationships, four invoicing systems and four different answers about who is responsible for the machine that is still down.

We are independent, and that changes two things that matter.

The first is coverage. One number handles the whole fleet, and the tech who shows up carries diagnostic software for all of it. The second is parts. We are not locked into a single manufacturer channel, so we source OEM, aftermarket or rebuilt depending on your budget and how long you actually plan to keep the machine. On a unit near the end of its life, that is often the difference between repairing it and replacing it.

How We Operate

Four Things We Commit To

Diagnosis Before Parts

We find the cause before anyone spends money. Replacing components in order of price until a fault clears is common in this trade, and the customer pays for every wrong guess. We test circuits and pressures instead.

A Number Before the Work

You get the finding and the price before a wrench turns. If teardown reveals more, you hear about it and approve the revised number. Nothing lands on an invoice that you did not agree to first.

Published Rates

$135 an hour for on-site labor and $100 an hour for travel, posted publicly. It is hard to quietly pad a bill when the rate is sitting on a page anybody can read.

The Phone Gets Answered

Nights, weekends and holidays. If we cannot reach you in a workable window we say so on that first call rather than leaving you waiting on a truck that is not coming.

Straight Talk

What We Will Tell You That Others Will Not

Some jobs belong in a shop. Some rods are scored badly enough that resealing them just buys you three weeks. Some machines have three major systems near end of life at once, and the honest answer is that a rebuild is not the right spend.

We say all of that out loud, and it costs us work. A shop that tells you to rebuild everything makes more money this month. We would rather be the number you call for the next fifteen years.

The rod in this photo came to us for a reseal. It could not be resealed. Telling the owner that on day one was cheaper for him than finding out a month later.

Where We Work

Las Vegas Based, Nevada Wide

We are based in Las Vegas and run field service across the state. The valley and Pahrump get the fastest response, usually same day. Reno, Carson City, Fallon and Yerington are covered on a scheduled northern route. Elko, Winnemucca, Battle Mountain and Tonopah are scheduled around travel, and we give you a real window rather than a guess.

Because there is no shop for you to drive to, there is no storefront address to publish. That is the point. The work happens at your yard, your jobsite, the pit or the pull-off where the machine actually stopped. Mine sites and remote ground are routine, and we handle induction or site orientation in advance so nobody loses a day at the gate.

Every photo on this site is our own work. No stock images, no borrowed equipment, no machines we have never touched.

Put Us To Work

Tell us the machine, the symptom and where it sits. You will get a straight answer on timing before we hang up.
