Fleet PM Programs

Heavy Equipment Preventive Maintenance in Las Vegas

Nobody plans a breakdown. What they plan, or fail to plan, is the maintenance that would have prevented it. A skipped oil sample or a filter left in an extra two hundred hours is how a five hundred dollar service becomes a fifteen thousand dollar rebuild.

We run interval-based preventive maintenance on-site across Nevada, scheduled around your hour meters so machines stay in production instead of queuing at a shop.

What Is Included

PM Built Around Your Hour Meters

A PM program is only useful if it actually happens. We track hour meters for every unit in your fleet and come to you when service is due, rather than waiting for somebody in your office to remember.

What Goes Wrong

What Skipped Maintenance Costs

Every expensive failure we get called out for has a maintenance story behind it. Not always neglect, often just a fleet that outgrew the spreadsheet somebody was using to track it.

Contaminated Hydraulic Fluid

The single biggest cause of pump and motor failure. Dust ingress in Nevada is relentless and a fluid analysis catches it long before a component fails.

Extended Oil Intervals

Stretching engine oil past its interval accelerates bearing and liner wear silently. There’s no warning light for it, only a rebuild years earlier than necessary.

Undercarriage Run to Destruction

Track wear ignored until chains take out sprockets and final drives. Measuring wear quarterly turns an unpredictable failure into a budgeted replacement.

Cooling System Neglect

Packed cores and degraded coolant in desert heat. Cheap to service, catastrophic to ignore, and the leading cause of head and liner damage we see.

Know The Warning Signs

Signs Your Maintenance Has Slipped

Fleets rarely decide to skip maintenance. They just grow past whatever system was tracking it. These are the symptoms of a maintenance program that has quietly stopped working.

Why On-Site

Documentation That Follows the Machine

Every service generates a written record: what was done, what fluids went in, what the inspection found and what we flagged for the next visit. That record lives with the unit.

It matters more than most owners expect. A documented maintenance history bumps resale value, settles warranty disputes with manufacturers, and gives you real data when deciding whether to rebuild a machine or replace it.

What a PM Program Actually Costs

Preventive maintenance is the only spend on this site that’s optional in the short term, which is exactly why it gets cut. Here’s what shapes the number, and what skipping it costs instead.

Fleet Size & Mix

More units and more varied makes means more fluid specifications and filter part numbers to hold. Standardised fleets cost less per unit to maintain.

Service Intervals

Machines working hard in abrasive Nevada conditions need shorter intervals than the manual assumes. We set intervals against actual operating conditions, not a generic table.

Fluid Analysis

Sampling adds a modest cost per service and returns it many times over. It’s the single most effective way to catch a failing component before it strands a machine.

On-Site vs Yard

Servicing units spread across multiple jobsites costs more in travel than a fleet parked in one yard. We route efficiently and quote it openly.

Where We Do This Work

Fleet Maintenance Across Nevada

PM routes cover the Las Vegas valley including Henderson, North Las Vegas, Summerlin, Enterprise, Sunrise Manor and Boulder City, along with Pahrump.

We also run scheduled maintenance for fleets in Reno, Carson City, Fallon and Yerington, and across the interior in Elko, Winnemucca, Battle Mountain and Tonopah. For fleets spread across several of those markets we plan routes so units get serviced where they’re working rather than being moved for maintenance.

There’s no minimum. We run programs for owner-operators with two machines and for contractors with thirty. The value of scheduling and documentation is proportionally similar either way.

Yes, and it’s the normal case. We route around your sites so units get serviced where they’re working. If your fleet moves around a lot, tell us the schedule and we’ll plan around it.

Wear metals, contamination and fluid condition. In practical terms it detects a failing component weeks or months before it fails, which is the difference between a planned repair and a machine down mid-job. It’s the highest-value item on any PM program.

Yes. Evening, overnight and weekend PM is common for fleets running full shifts. Servicing while a machine would be parked anyway is the cheapest maintenance there’s.

We schedule around your production, including evenings and weekends. Where a service can’t happen on time, we’ll tell you what the risk of deferring is so it’s your decision made with real information rather than a guess.

We do. Once a unit is on a program we track its hours and contact you when service is coming due. Removing that admin burden is a large part of why programs actually get followed.

Documented maintenance to manufacturer specification protects warranty claims. It’s a common reason claims get denied. Our written records exist partly for that purpose, though check your specific warranty terms for any dealer-service requirement.
